Original 1927 Canadian Pacific Steamships promotional booklet titled “The White Empresses of the Pacific.”
This 26-page illustrated travel brochure showcases Canadian Pacific’s celebrated Pacific fleet, including the Empress of Asia, Empress of Canada, and Empress of Russia. It contains period photographs and illustrations highlighting the ships, accommodations, onboard life, and travel between Vancouver, Victoria, Japan, China, Hong Kong, and Manila.
The publication is marked “Printed in Canada, 1927.”
Condition: Good antique condition for its age. The covers and interior pages show expected age-related toning, discoloration, spotting, and light handling wear. There is a diagonal crease on the back cover and minor edge and corner wear. The booklet remains intact and presents very well for a publication approaching 100 years old. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the condition description.
A wonderful original piece of Canadian Pacific, ocean-liner, maritime, and early international travel history.
