1926 Nebraska Hi-Y Club Membership Card Signed by W.G. Ingram

This 1926 Hi-Y Club membership card, signed by YMCA Secretary and advisor W.G. Ingram, belonged to \"Geo. West\" of Kearney, Nebraska.

Notably, W.G. Ingram’s involvement in the Hi-Y Club aligns with his broader contributions to community activities. Historical records show that Ingram was involved in organizing a bicycling tournament as early as 1889, according to an Omaha Daily Bee article from April 7, 1889. This card bears his signature alongside Gould C. Norton, the club president, and W.E. Thomas, the state high school secretary.

The Hi-Y Clubs, a part of the broader YMCA youth programs, focused on building leadership and character among high school boys across North America.
