Vintage 1926–1928 Chrysler “Viking Helmet” / “Mercury Winged Hat” Radiator Ornament

An unusual and highly decorative early automotive collectible featuring a rounded helmet with two dramatically swept-back wings, beautifully detailed feathers, and classic 1920s styling.

The ornament has an attractive aged silver-tone finish and retains substantial feather detail on both wings. The underside has a recessed mounting opening, and the exterior bears a diamond-shaped marking that appears to include the words “DESIGN PAT...” (exact inscription not fully verified).
