1920 NYPD Rules Regulations Book 1915 Amendments Trussell Leather Binder RareAntique 1920 NYPD Rules & Regulations Pocket Manual (1915 Amendments in Trussell Leather Binder)

Up for sale is an authentic, rare antique 1920 New York City Police Department (NYPD) official Rules & Regulations pocket manual, housed in its original 6" x 4" flexible black leather Trussell 3-ring loose-leaf binder (No. 616 K). Printed by M. B. Brown Printing & Binding Co., NY.

This historical document of early 20th-century New York law enforcement includes the 1920 departmental Roster (listing Commissioner Richard E. Enright and Deputy Commissioners), detailed operational regulations (e.g., Detective Division, Desk Officer protocols, Funeral procedures), and an inserted section for the 1915 Amendments to Rules.

Condition & Preservation Details:

Binder: Original Trussell flexible black leather 3-ring casing with patent dates stamped inside the flyleaf ("PAT FEB 25 '08"). Displays genuine age wear, edge rubbing, and rich antique patina.
Loose / Worn Page Holes: Due to age and previous handling, several internal pages exhibit tearing around the punched ring holes, causing those pages to sit loose on the rings.
Complete Page Count: All pages are accounted for. Paper shows age toning typical of paper from this era.
Page Sequence Note: The first 4 pages in the front of the binder are currently out of numerical order. They were intentionally left as-found rather than re-ringed to preserve the delicate antique paper around the punch holes.

Please examine all detailed photos to evaluate condition and historical detail prior to purchasing.
