For sale is a rare 1910 Gillette single ring in new old stock condition. I purchased a pair of true new old stock single rings years ago that were still wrapped in their original tissue paper and wax seal. I posted two screen shots of what this set would have originally looked like when I bought it. This one had more wear to the tissue paper wrapping it so I decided to open this one to see what was inside exactly. What was inside is what you see here. Please note the shipper (cardboard box) is not original to this set but does help with display and is from a few years later single ring set but I\'ve included since I had extras. What was under neather the tissue is what you see in the rest of the photos. First the razor inside the set was wrapped in a white tissue paper and also has the matching serial number on it the razor has. We didn\'t know this is how some of these came until this set. The serial number on the razor is B579289 dating it to 1910. This razor has not been polished or touched other than to open it to get the number. The case unfortunately has a damaged leather flap but I guess thats happens sometime to.leather thats 116 years even in its unused condition. The blade boxes were stocked with their 12 original blades and inspectors tag. This set also had the instructions on how to open the blade safe which is also rarely seen. Set also contains the original intruction booklet. This is an awesome piece to add to the collection. I\'ve yet to see another singke ring set wrapped in original tissue like this one. The second razor I bought which was in slightly better condition is in my buddies amazing collection now. If you have questions please ask
