The colorful poster depicts an early Columbia touring car outside the Red Lion, with a chauffeur, passengers, and dog. The original advertising includes the slogan “The Columbia is a car of a thousand excellencies,” the Columbia Motor Car Company name, Hartford, Connecticut, and “Licensed Under Selden Patent.”
The original printed poster has been mounted to a custom-shaped wooden board with a dark stained finish and lacquered surface.
