Up for sale is a salvaged lot of 13 authentic, original antique book plates removed from a damaged 1908 Booklovers Edition by The University Society of Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities. These historic engravings feature striking scenes from the novel alongside a commemorative portrait plate dedicated to Dickens.Notably, all 13 plates feature a completely blank, unprinted reverse side. This makes them highly desirable and premium quality for custom picture framing, gallery walls, junk journaling, scrapbooking, or mixed media art, as there is no background text bleed-through.
