IMPORTANT CONDITION INFORMATION:
This 119-year-old volume is in poor and extremely fragile binding condition. The binding is substantially deteriorated, with separation at the boards and internally between sections/signatures. Binding material is exposed and is actively crumbling. Additional handling or opening may cause further separation or detached pages.
The covers show substantial age-related wear, edge wear and deterioration as photographed. Interior pages and photographic reproductions shown remain attractive for their age, with expected age-related wear.
Because of the fragile condition, the book was handled as little as possible during photography and has not been exhaustively collated page-by-page. Therefore, no representation is made that the volume is complete. Please review all photographs carefully for the exact condition and contents represented.
No attempt has been made to glue, tape or otherwise repair the deteriorating binding. It is being offered as-is as an original 1907 historical volume suitable for a Civil War collection, research, preservation or professional restoration.
Please feel free to ask questions before purchasing. The book will be packed with particular care to minimize movement during shipment.
