This is a genuine antique railroad bond issued during the expansion era of American railroads in the Oklahoma Territory.
*The Choctaw, Oklahoma & Gulf Railroad (CO&G)—often called the “Choctaw Route”—was a key regional line connecting Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas during the early 1900s.
*Completed major routes by 1900, linking Memphis to Oklahoma Territory
*Expanded westward and into Texas by 1902
Soon after issuance of these bonds, the line was absorbed by the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad, marking a classic consolidation era in U.S. rail history
CONDITION: This comes from my father’s collection of antique stocks and bonds. Given that I am not a professional, please see photos and ask questions. This bond shows age related toning, foxing, edge wear/folds/tears, a beautiful Native American vignette & train, ornate borders, period typography and printed by American Bank Note Co Philadelphia.
A striking and historically rich piece ideal for railroadiana collectors, scripophily investors, Western expansion historians, and Native American–themed art enthusiasts.
With its full coupon set and bold engraved imagery, this bond bridges finance, frontier history, and visual storytelling—making it equally suited for framing, portfolio diversification, or resale inventory.

These bonds are artifacts from the financing of America’s railroad expansion, representing the capital structure that built early infrastructure across Native American territories.
