Hardcover, 82 pp., measures 6,25” x 10,”. featuring a history of the Cunard line, detailed photo-mechanical plates showing the interiors and exteriors of Cunard ships, particularly the Campania, an overview of Cunard operations of the period, information on the World’s Fair, a chromolithography terminal plate, and four large folding linen-backed plates.
The book highlights the flagship Cunard vessel of the era, the newly introduced twin-screw RMS Campania and its sister ship RMS Lucania—to promote transatlantic travel to American fairgoers.
Good/Very Good condition. Cloth a bit rippled, slight edge wear to boards, toning to endpapers. Contents quite clean, complete. Very scarce.
