This is a rarely found soup tureen with its lid and matching serving spoon, from the late 1890s made by Anthony Shaw & Son in England. A very nice find!
A great addition to a collection, however, because of the crazing and fleabites, it is not recommended for holding potable foods or liquids.

There is continuos crazing, particularly in the lid top and bottom; fleabites and very few small chips in the glaze, especially on the inside and outside of the bowl. There are no structural chips or cracks. Not suitable for potable foods or liquids. Please examine photos carefully. The tureen, lid, and spoon in these photos are the actual items for sale from this listing. Rest assured the items will be packed securely for shipping.
