Original circa 1890s cabinet card photograph showing two young girls posed in a photographer’s studio wearing boxing gloves and facing one another as if preparing to spar. An especially unusual and playful late 19th century studio portrait. No photographer’s mark or identification is present.

Good overall condition for age with general toning, scattered surface marks and spotting, and light wear to the edges and corners of the mount. Reverse is blank.
