Original circa 1882–1886 cabinet card photograph showing a young man posed beside a large penny-farthing high-wheel bicycle.

Photographed by C. C. Wright, with studio imprint reading “Cor. 15th & Larimer Streets, Wright, Denver, Colorado.” Wright was an early Denver photographer active at this location during the 1880s. Excellent early bicycling image with a very prominent view of the bicycle.

Condition shows age and wear, including damage along the lower left edge and corner. There is an area of paper/residue adhered to the lower left portion of the photograph and mount which may potentially be removable by a professional conservator. Additional toning, spotting and general surface wear as shown. Reverse is blank.

Sold as is and as found. Please ask any and all questions BEFORE committing to purchase. Thank you.
