A beautifully preserved tintype from the 1860s, depicts a man with a prominent beard and mustache, tinted cheeks, framed by a decorative gilded border. The subject’s attire and the characteristic silver-hued, reflective quality of the image suggest the decade and fashion of the era. 1/6 plate size 2 3/4" x 3 1/4".

CONDITION: Antique in very nice condition! The portrait is slightly over exposed and in excellent condition (SEE PHOTOS). The case is damaged and worn missing one half (SEE PHOTOS). Overall a nice piece of history!
