I’m pleased to present this very rare and unique high precision Biedermeier clock made by “Roy a Paris”

This clock is so called transition period biedermeier clock or true first Vienna clock.

The clock was made in Vienna Austria about 11850-60 or late Biedermeier clock

Roy a Paris is typical nick name of austrian clockmakers.

Name was used instead of real German or Austrian names due to their past and involving in conflicts

The clock is finished also with typical mahogany veneered case with delicate brass stringing, milk porcelain dial, fire gilded engine turned bezel, blued steel hands, Graham escapement, string suspended steel pendulum.

The box case frame has curved finish not like in typical dachl clocks so it looks like this clock is an early biedermeier.

Very accurate on time you won’t believe how precise this clock is 

Absolutely stunning condition ,the movement has been cleaned and serviced as it should and now is working as it should ,you barely can hear its tick tock this is a perfect example of a hand made clock by Austrian clokmasters.
