🎨 “A Monster Named Lois Lane!”
This is pure Bronze Age DC coolness. Nick Cardy delivers a wonderfully bizarre cover with an enraged Lois Lane attacking Superman while he asks, “Lois, what’s happened to you?”
Cardy was one of DC’s defining cover artists of the era, and #438 is a terrific example of his ability to turn an irresistible story hook into a memorable cover.
Inside, Cary Bates and Curt Swan handle the Superman feature, while Martin Pasko and Dick Dillin deliver the Atom backup.
An excellent combination of Superman, Lois Lane, Nick Cardy artwork and classic 1970s DC storytelling in an elite CGC 9.6.
