All rights reserved.Fantastic original poster celebrating the 1971 Porsche racing season, featuring the 917Ks that won the 12 Hours at Sebring, Daytona 24 Hours, 24 Hours of Le Mans and Nurburgring 1000 km races and the 914-6 that four-time SCCA national champion Alan Johnson drove.This is a rare piece inspired by Porsche's third consecutive world championship and their domination of 1971 endurance racing. Artist Robert Hubbach produced the original painting in black watercolor against a white background. We understand this to be an original from the 1971 poster run, well preserved by a careful collector. Hubbach was a student at the Art Center College in Pasadena when he produced this piece, and went on to a long career as an automotive designer at GM and Chrysler, where he penned the original theme sketch for the Viper and spent nine years on the project.Poster measures 22 1/2" x 39” (58cm x 101cm).
