This car won the 1938 Mille Miglia. It was purchased by Dr Fred Simeone and was among hisfavorite cars in his Simeone Foundation car museum in Philadelphia, PA where itcurrently still resides on display. It is profiled in Dr Fred Simeone’sand Michael Furman’s book “The Spirit of Competition” in pages 194-203,including this photo. Michael said he waited 20 years to finallyphotograph this car, choosing to photograph this car last to allow him topractice on all the other cars first for this book.

I have included photos of the dimensions and materials we meticulously selected for such a large, impressive photograph to help you frame it and give you ideas. In my example the final frame would be 40”x50” including about a 4” mat all around. Again, this sale is for the unframed original photograph as you see in my photographs, no framing materials.

Original Furman pigment prints of this size are sold from authorizedgalleries for $2500-$4000 and more, unframed.

It was a mix up in ordering and I had to order another one from him since this was a custom order (size and car) and could not be returned. There is nothing wrong with it – it is unblemished as it came off the printer. I currently have it stored flat between two archival mats.

It is a stunning photo to see in person, especially in this large 3’x4’ size.
