When I see this hanging, it reminds me of the turkey hand drawings the kids used to do in kindergarten. It is not exactly that but has the same primitive feeing about it. It is done as simple yet charming hand drawn designs of Pilgrims, an American Indian, Turkey, a crow, a squirrel and various Thanksgiving foods. The colors are all muted and are perfect for Primitive decor. The border is a coordinating small brown checked homespun pattern that goes well with the design. This same homespun type of fabric has two loops made from it to slip a dowel or even primitive stick from your own back yard through to hang it by. This will make you smile and think of the true meaning of Thanksgiving-sharing your bounty with others... even if it is crows and squirrels and you look strangely like a stick person!
