Hand Beaded Wixárika / Huichol Style Mexican Folk Art Wood Bowl – Approx. 6”
Beautiful handcrafted Mexican folk-art piece featuring thousands of tiny multicolored seed beads arranged in an intricate symmetrical geometric design.
The shallow round wooden form is completely covered across the front and sides with beadwork in rich shades of cobalt blue, turquoise, red, orange, green, cream, brown, black and yellow. Five elaborate radiating motifs surround a raised circular central medallion.
Measures approximately 6 inches in diameter.
The underside is natural unfinished wood and is unmarked. No artist signature was found; therefore the piece is being offered as Wixárika/Huichol-style Mexican beadwork without a specific artist attribution.
