I\'m selling a very rare 2.5\" piece of railroad track owned by Walt Disney. This track came from his Carolwood Pacific Railroad that Walt had in the backyard of his Holmby Hills home in Los Angeles. The Carolwood Pacific Railroad was a 7 1/4\" gauge ridable miniature railroad that Walt would run for his family and friends and featured the Lilly Belle steam locomotive named after his Wife. The train first rain on December 24, 1949 and inspired Disney to include railroad attractions for Disneyland. It comes with the track, the certificate of authenticity and a fantastic photo of Walt with the Carolwood Pacific Railroad.
This piece of track was purchased in 2019 from a Van Eaton Galleries sale and includes a certificate of authenticity from the renowned gallery. The sale listing and COA mention 2 pieces of track, this is only for the one piece of track you see in the photos. The other piece was gifted to a friend, so where you see a pair or two mentioned. It\'s only one piece.

One original section of 1/8 scale railroad track from Walt Disney\'s personal backyard railroad, the Carlwood Pacific Railroad. This section of track was actually used by Walt in his home between 1950 and 1952. After his death in 1968, the railway was dismantled and portions of the track were later used in other railway projects to honor Walt. This is a very nicely sized section of the original track and measures 1\" tall by 2.5\" long; the condition is fair to good, with expected wear and soiling from use and age.
This is your opportunity to own an item that was very dear to Walt\'s heart. These are getting harder and harder to find in this size, bigger ones sell for thousands and thousands and smaller pieces aren\'t nearly as cool and are typically more expensive. Look closely at the photos, they show what\'s included and the condition. Sold as-is.
