• Liner Condition: The internal herringbone twill (HBT) cotton webbing is original to the period with standard unpainted A-washers. The webbing shows heavy field wear, fraying, and some torn sections as pictured.
• Authentic WWII M1 Steel Shell: Features a late-war swivel-bale chin strap loop configuration with original factory welds. The steel shell has a heavy, authentic rusted patina with deep surface pitting under the exterior paint.
