Published for military personnel as a practical guide to spoken French during WWII. The booklet includes illustrated pronunciation and language instruction throughout and bears a 1944 U.S. Government Printing Office marking on the back.
Inside the front is handwritten “WWII” along with the name “Frederick Martin Marble.” No independent military service history or provenance for the named individual has been verified.
Measures approximately 5 1/4" x 4 1/4".
Vintage condition with age toning, edge and corner wear, light creasing, small tears, and general handling wear consistent with an original wartime booklet. Binding remains intact. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition and contents.
