This is an authentic World War I era United States Army single-hole identification disc (dog tag) stamped with HENRY C. MULKINS along the top curve and U S A centered across the middle. A genuine piece of American military history, this circular metal tag represents a classic personal field item issued to servicemen during World War I, ideal for militaria displays or historical research.
Mulkin was from Oregon and served as a Cook with Battery B, 341st Field Artillery Regiment, 91st Division , AEF. The 91st Division was a west coast National Army (draftees) unit ands had a good reputation.
