Offered here is an original, WWI-era US \"rough cut\" wool uniform for a private first class in the 37th \"Buckeye\" Division. According to the collar discs on this particular uniform, this soldier would have served in a machine gun unit\'s company \"D.\"
The overall shape of this uniform is great. There are several moth bites throughout the wool, the bullion overseas stripe has some threads loose, and the collar catches have both fallen away over time. However, this uniform is complete with all of it\'s buttons, an infantry private first class patch on the right sleeve, an aforementioned overseas stripe in bullion on the lower left sleeve, and a 37th \"Buckeye\" Division patch applied on the upper left shoulder. Unlike the typical 37th patch, which consists of just the red circle with a white trim, this example sports a rarely-encountered \"37\" in the center.
Please do not hesitate to reach out anytime should you have questions or concerns regarding this particular lot. All items owned and sold by me have been kept in pet and moth-free homes.
Asking $15 for shipping within CONUS, $25 for international.
