Original WWII US Army Air Force (USAAF) 3" Aerial Gunner Wings - Sterling Silver

Up for sale is an authentic, original World War II United States Army Air Forces Aerial Gunner qualification badge. This is the full-sized 3-inch wing worn by aircrew gunners on their service dress uniforms during the war.

Item Details:

• Authenticity: 100% original WWII period piece (Authorized April 1943).

• Material: Solid Sterling Silver. Marked "STERLING" clearly on the reverse.

• Construction: Desirable two-piece construction. The detailed central winged-bullet and target insignia is a separate stamping applied to the base pilot wing shell.

• Size: Full size, measuring approximately 3 inches wide.

• Attachment: Dual clutch-back pins on the reverse.

Condition:
