This product is a vintage black Bembo lacquerware covered trinket round ball box featuring Japanese culture and koi fish design, originating from Japan. Handmade I think of bamboo, with a bright red/ orange interior- and a pair of beautifully painted koi fish trimmed in gold paint. Maybe could use a wax to polish up ( if that is what you do to lacquered pieces! ) ??
This unique collectible item showcases traditional Asian craftsmanship and symbolism. Perfect for storing small treasures or decorative items. Look over all pics!!
