Description
Beautiful vintage West German blown glass Christmas ornament featuring a highly reflective silver finish with a rich amber/orange center band decorated with white looping scrollwork.
The ornament has an unusual drop/finial shape with a rounded body and elongated ribbed silver lower section. The bold orange, silver and white color combination gives it a wonderful Mid-Century Modern / retro Christmas look.
Original metal cap is stamped WEST GERMANY.

Vintage condition with age-related wear, including areas of oxidation/spotting, finish loss, surface marks and wear to the painted decoration. There is visible wear particularly along portions of the white banding and silvered surface. These signs of age are consistent with an authentic vintage glass ornament and are shown closely in the photos. Please review all photographs as they are part of the condition description.
