Up for sale is a vintage Dante "Carpenter's Bench" men's dresser valet/jewelry box. This piece features a solid wood frame base and a hinged, heavily marbled stone/glass composite lid displaying a high-relief cameo panel of a Roman chariot race.
The bottom retains its original red and white "Dante Carpenter's Bench - American Craftsmanship" shield sticker. The interior features a padded lining designed to hold rings, cuff links, watches, or small pocket items.
This item is in weathered vintage condition. The wooden exterior and stone lid are structurally sound with working hinges. However, the interior fabric lining shows significant staining and discoloration from age and use (see photos). The underside of the lid also shows some white surface marks/scuffs. Perfect candidate for restoration or adding a vintage rustic touch to a dresser. Sold as-is. Please review all photos for exact details.
