Subject: Boy in a blue Fauntleroy suit of knee britches, jacket withslashed sleeve detail,lace collar and cuffs and big cavalier style hat(popular 1885-early 1900s.) He carries a gift of a gold wishbone for good luck. He also holds an umbrella, trimmed with dangling red hearts, under a rain of tiny gilded gold hearts.
- Rare, artist signed Ellen Clapsaddle postcard. Signature is hard to find (in the shadow below the boy's feet.)
- Greeting: "My Heart's best Gift."
- Printed on front: "Painting Only Copyrighted by The Int. Art Pub. Co. 1907."
- Printed on back: IAP trade mark, New York-Berlin, Printed in Germany, Series No. 952.
- Beautiful artwork details: Boy's face and curly hair.
- Other features: Gilded gold hearts, wishbone and lettering, boy and umbrella have a slightly glossy finish, divided back, sending and receiving postmarks Feb 13 and Feb 18, 1909.
