Vtg 1970s MCM Kissing Couple Chalkware Sculpture Lovers Statue 18” Wood Look for sale

Up for sale is a striking vintage Mid-Century Modern figurative sculpture depicting an embracing, kissing couple.

Standing approximately 18 inches tall, this large decorative piece is made of heavy plaster/chalkware and features a warm wood-grain style finish. The elongated abstract forms and romantic subject give it a classic 1970s modernist look.

The underside includes an original handwritten gift dedication dated July 12, 1975, providing a nice period detail and helping anchor the piece to the mid-1970s.
