Authentic 1950’s small Cameo Creation oval miniature portrait. This romantic piece features the portrait "Cecile Volage," on paper, originally painted by American artist Vincent Nesbert as a mid-20th-century recreation of a classic work by 18th-century French master Jean-Baptiste Greuze.
Highly detailed, ornate Baroque/Rococo style resin frame with an antiqued gold finish. Features the signature vintage convex (bubble) glass front that beautifully highlights the portrait.
Complete with its original textured backing, metal hanging loop, original gold foil "A Cameo Creation" crest sticker, and the original title label.
The frame measures 5 1/2” tall by 4 7/8” wide.
