This is a rare, authentic vintage 1950s Inland Daily Press Association Outstanding Newspaperboy Award Pin. This historical piece of Mid-Century journalism memorabilia features a beautifully detailed front design with a green & dark navy blue enameled background and a modern rolling safety clasp mechanism on the reverse. The back is stamped with the manufacturer mark for the historic Bastian Brothers Company out of Rochester, New York (partly worn off), alongside two distinct union stamps including the MPB / PIU shield hallmark (Metal Polishers, Buffers, Platers, and Helpers International Union). Perfect for collectors of occupational badges, newspaper ephemera, or union-made memorabilia, this diminutive pin is in very good vintage pre-owned condition with minor appropriate aging to the metal finish.
