Vintage Western Electric 20AL brass candlestick telephone, converted to a desk lamp.
The stem is stamped 20AL. Polished brass column and weighted round base, black molded receiver on the side hook, and black transmitter mouthpiece. A Paulding lamp socket (marked Paulding / Pat. May 25, 26) and wire harp with finial sit on top. Green felt pad under the base. Cloth-covered cord with plug.
Works. Lift the receiver off the hook and the bulb comes on; set it back and the light goes off. Shown working in the video. Standard bulb included for display; shade not included.
About 5.5 in. across the base and about 21 in. tall to the finial.
Condition: bright brass with light wear, small spots, and age marks. Receiver and mouthpiece intact. Cord is original-style cloth and a bit stiff. Sold as a decorative lamp, not a working telephone.
