This 10.5" plate features a pretty silver trim, creamy white ceramic and a picture of The White House in the center. Labeled "Home of the Presidents" around the top with "Washington, D.C." around the bottom of the picture.
The backstamp indicates the white blank plate was created by Sabin Industries in McKeesport, PA which was founded in 1945 and sold in 1967. The blank plate would have been sold to another company who applied the decal and letters.
This plate was purchased when my father was stationed in Washington, DC during the early 50's. A portion of this sale is being donated to the Lions Club, an organization he was heavily involved with and took pride in supporting.
This plate is for display purposes only. Please view the photos to see the details and condition of this plate. There are no cracks, chips or defects.
