Gorgeous vintage hair comb! Tortoiseshell-pattern teeth with a silver-tone decorative top set with four turquoise-tone cabochons in an ornate leaf design. Marked "MODELE DEPOSE" (French registered design mark) on the comb — see photo.
Measures approximately 4.5 inches long. Stones are turquoise-tone (genuine turquoise not verified); metal is unmarked and untested for silver content — priced and sold as a vintage fashion piece. Lovely aged patina on the metalwork, consistent with age. Teeth are intact.
A striking statement piece for vintage hair accessory collectors or Southwestern-style lovers. From a smoke-free home.
