Vintage Toledo Spain “Colada del Cid” Decorative Sword – Ornate Etched BladeBeautiful vintage decorative sword marked COLADA DEL CID and TOLEDO, styled after Colada, one of the legendary swords traditionally associated with the Spanish hero El Cid.This is a substantial full-size decorative Toledo sword featuring an ornate etched blade, elaborate swept-style guard, textured/wire-wrapped grip and rounded metal pommel. The blade carries extensive decorative scrollwork along with the prominent COLADA DEL CID inscription.This piece came from long-term attic storage and remains in its naturally aged, unrestored condition.There is visible oxidation, surface rust, patina, discoloration, scratches and general age/storage wear throughout the blade, guard, grip and pommel. It has intentionally not been polished or restored, allowing the next owner to decide whether to preserve the existing patina or undertake restoration.Please examine all photographs carefully for exact condition.
