Up for sale is a beautiful, hand-crafted 4.25" high x 1.5” wide Chalkware Belsnickel Santa Figurine, meticulously cast from an authentic vintage metal tin mold to replicate the primitive charm of 1800s American holiday folk art.Because it was formed using a historic metal mold, it captures incredible, crisp sculpted details throughout that modern molds simply cannot match. This solid-cast plaster piece has a wonderful, heavy weight in the hand. The sculpture has been completely hand-finished using traditional multi-layered antiquing glazes that rest deep inside the creases to create stunning, warm shadow lines. The entire piece has been professionally sealed with a velvety, non-yellowing matte topcoat to preserve the finish forever. On the bottom is a signed by artist leather tag to protect furniture. An exceptional addition for any serious collector of primitive Christmas, antique tin mold reproductions, chalkware, or traditional Americana folk art. Shipped safely and securely packaged straight from the artisan's studio bench. Please see photos for the exact beautiful details! Free USPS shipping within the U.S., Priority Mail is an upgrade, extra paid by buyer. Please view my other Chalkware items in my shop, all made from antique and vintage chocolate molds!
