I picked this machine up locally and am selling it in the condition I found it. I have made no attempt to clean, lubricate, service or restore it.
Testing: The machine powers on and the built-in light works. The foot pedal operates the motor and the needle mechanism runs. When I initially tested it, the machine was sluggish and turned fairly slowly. After running it briefly, it loosened up and began running quickly as expected. Because of its age and the fact that it has not been serviced, I would recommend cleaning/lubrication or routine servicing before regular use.
I have not tested it by sewing fabric and have not tested every stitch, adjustment or function, so only the functions specifically described above should be considered tested.
The machine has normal cosmetic wear from age and use, including dirt/dust, scratches, marks and discoloration. There is also a noticeable small dent/ding on the top cover, shown in the photos. The carrying case shows age/use as well, including wear to the handle.
Included: Singer Stylist Model 476 sewing machine, carrying case/base, foot controller/pedal and attached power cord. No additional accessories or manual are included unless specifically pictured.
