Vintage Sears Craftsman model 9554 three-blade split-spring Whittler pocket knife, made in the USA for Sears by Schrade.
Approximately 3⅞ inches closed with a large clip blade, small clip blade and coping blade. Features attractive jigged Staglon imitation-stag handles, Craftsman shield and nickel-silver bolsters.
The Craftsman 9554 is documented as Sears' version of the Schrade 804-pattern split-spring Whittler.
Pre-owned vintage condition with scratches, spotting, oxidation and age-related wear to the blades, bolsters and liners. One bolster shows noticeable darker oxidation/discoloration. Handle scales retain attractive color and texture with no obvious major cracks or missing sections observed. Craftsman shield remains intact.
All three blades open and close with good snap with no significant side-to-side wobble noted.
