This fine example of Russian folk art depicts The Flute Player. The plaque has a glossy lacquer finish and a texture under the surface that enhances the artwork. A sample of this texture can be seen in the reflection on the last photo. Dual hangers are securely attached on the rear surface.
The plaque is painted in the Palekh Style and is signed by the artist and includes the village of origination, written in gold Cyrillic.
