Vintage Royal Musical Lighter Sankyo Japan Music Box Plays Atomic Starburst
Vintage Royal Musical lighter with a Sankyo music box movement, made in Japan, mid-century (approx. 1960s-70s).
MUSIC BOX WORKS. Wind it and it plays its tune.
Does not currently produce a flame. The flint wheel is intact, but I have not been able to get it to light. It likely needs fuel, a new flint, or seal replacement. Sold as-is for display, collecting, or repair.
Details:
• Chrome-style body with gold-tone top and base
• Engraved atomic starburst design on the front
• "Royal Musical" engraved on the base, "Sankyo" stamped on the music winder
• Flip lid and wheel intact
Condition: Used vintage. Plating is worn with scratches and tarnish, especially at the base and edges, and there is some surface grime. Engraving is still crisp. See all photos, which show the actual item. No box.
