This vintage Soviet photo album is a classic example of giftware and souvenirs from the USSR during the 1960s and 1970s, featuring the space-themed design that was popular at the time.Design and Material Details• Cover: The album is bound in bright red faux velvet (plush) over a sturdy cardboard base. A metal plaque (bas-relief) is affixed to the front, depicting Planet Earth and a rocket in orbit (symbolizing the *Vostok* or *Voskhod* series spacecraft).• Pages: The interior features sheets of thick, embossed cardboard in a greenish-gray (or mint) shade.• Photo Mounting: Instead of modern plastic or glue, this album uses shaped slots (photo corners) die-cut directly into the cardboard. This cascading slot system is versatile, allowing for the neat insertion of various photo formats popular in the USSR (such as 9×12 cm, 10×15 cm, or smaller snapshots).Length: 12 inches (30 cm)Width: 8.5 inches (22 cm)
