Vintage Quisp Cereal Boxes Lot of 2 Quaker 1997 Space Trivia Watch Offer Flattened
DESCRIPTION
Lot of two vintage Quisp cereal boxes from Quaker, featuring two different packaging designs, colorful cartoon mascot artwork and classic cereal advertising. Both boxes have printed 1997 best-before dates and have been opened and flattened for storage.
A collectible pair for fans of Quisp, cereal box collecting, cartoon mascots, vintage food packaging, advertising memorabilia and 1990s nostalgia. The bright blue backgrounds, bold lettering and space-themed illustrations also make these interesting pieces for a retro kitchen display or graphic design collection.
Included in this lot:
Quisp cereal-bowl design: Features the pink propeller-headed mascot behind a bowl of cereal, large Quisp lettering and printed nutrition claims. Best-before date: October 27, 1997. The reverse features a Space Trivia game, question cards and illustrated game markers.
Quisp “Quazy Energy Cereal” watch-offer design: Features a large full-body Quisp mascot and “Send For My Quazy Quisp Watch!” advertising. A side panel illustrates the watch and its collectible tin, with an advertised mail-in price of $16.95. Best-before date: July 18, 1997.
Both packages are marked NET WT 9 OZ / 255 g, referring to their original cereal contents.
CONDITION
Used vintage cardboard packaging with visible wear. Both boxes are opened, empty and flattened, with creases along the original folds, surface scuffs, scattered marks and discoloration, and wear to edges and corners. Opening the glued flaps has left torn and peeled paper areas with exposed brown cardboard and glue residue. Some flap edges are ragged, with small tears and paper loss. A small sticker is visible on the nutrition panel of the cereal-bowl design.
The main illustrations and lettering remain colorful and readable, but these boxes are not mint or pristine. Please examine all photos closely for the condition of the panels, folds and flaps.
Sale includes the two pictured cardboard cereal boxes only. No cereal, watch, tin or separate promotional premium is included. The printed watch offer is historical and expired.
A distinctive addition to a Quaker Quisp collection, vintage cereal box display, breakfast advertising collection, food packaging archive or collection of cartoon character memorabilia.
