This is something I have created from years worth of collecting. It measures just around 20” at the outer edge. Each ornament is attached to a tinsel wrapped wire frame by 2 means, wire and glue. It’s one solid piece and very sturdy. I have attached a ribbon for hanging on a hook. Not made for outside use.
This is a handmade 20-inch Christmas wreath crafted entirely from vintage wooden ornaments, and it reads as bold, joyful, and intentionally maximalist.
The wreath is densely layered with dozens of mid-century to late-20th-century wood ornaments, including nutcrackers, Santas, snowmen, bears, toy soldiers, musicians, animals, sleighs, and folk-style figures. Many pieces retain their original painted finishes, felt details, yarn hair, faux fur trim, and small metal or wood accessories, giving the wreath rich texture and visual depth from every angle.
Gold tinsel is woven throughout the base, adding sparkle and cohesion while helping visually tie together the varied shapes and colors. The palette leans classic Christmas—reds, greens, creams, golds, and soft pastels—balanced with occasional whimsical pops (striped outfits, jewel accents, tiny props). The result feels playful, nostalgic, and storybook-like, with something new to discover every time you look.
This is a statement wreath, best suited for:
• Holiday wall décor
• An interior door
• A covered entryway
• A focal point in a vintage or eclectic Christmas display
Because it’s made from solid wood ornaments, it has a substantial, heirloom-quality presence and feels more like a three-dimensional assemblage piece than a traditional wreath.
Overall, it blends vintage charm, folk art whimsy, and festive excess—a one-of-a-kind holiday décor piece that celebrates classic wooden Christmas ornaments in a bold, curated way.
