Large vintage original commercial illustration / advertising production board featuring several separate hand-rendered elements: a bank or credit-union interior scene, a family portrait, a woman portrait with red color separation, and a large red/brown acorn graphic.
The artwork is mounted and assembled on professional Crescent Illustration Board No. 215, Medium Weight, Cold Press Surface. It retains the original translucent protective overlay, crop marks, registration targets, taped elements, color-separation artwork and handwritten production instructions including “Art 2,” “Art 3,” “40% of Orig,” “35% of Orig,” and color notes such as “Black Halftone / Solid Brown / 20% Brown.”
These production markings strongly indicate this was working artwork prepared for commercial printing, rather than decorative artwork or a later reproduction. The individual illustrations appear to use mixed media including ink, wash, gouache/paint and drawing media.
The acorn was probably part of a corporate logo or advertising campaign. Because this material appears alongside your Lockheed Federal Credit Union artwork, there may be a connection, but I would not advertise this particular board as Lockheed Federal Credit Union unless we find documentation connecting it.
Condition shows normal signs of professional production use and age, including toning, tape, adhesive, registration labels, handling marks and aging of the translucent overlay. Please see photographs.
