Vintage NOS Klein-Logan 5.5 lb Adze Head Heavy Timber Framing Tool Pittsburgh - Vintage NOS (New Old Stock / Unissued): Outstanding unissued condition with full original blade length and original forged geometry.
- Preserved Steel: Cleaned and sealed with Renaissance Wax over a light oil wipe to preserve its deep, dark gunmetal storage patina. Free of heat damage, heavy pitting, or grinder marks.
- Factory Bevel Profile: Features its original factory-ground bevel. As with vintage NOS edge tools, it was shipped with an un-honed edge intended to be final-sharpened and honed by the craftsman to their preferred bevel angle and project needs.
- Undamaged Poll & Eye: The eye is completely true with no mushrooming, cracks, or sledgehammer abuse.
- Weight: Weighs exactly 5.5 lbs (5 lbs 8 oz as shown on vintage scale)—a substantial, high-capacity forging built for heavy timber framing, deep beam work, and log shaping where the weight of the head does the work.
