DESCRIPTION:
Beautiful vintage set of six Mexican alpaca metal cordial goblets featuring genuine abalone shell inlay around each cup.
Each goblet is individually decorated with colorful natural shell displaying gorgeous shades of green, blue, lavender, pink and silver. The shell patterns vary from piece to piece, giving every goblet its own character.
The pedestal-style design has a wonderful Mid-Century Mexican / Taxco-inspired look and would make a striking addition to a vintage barware collection, cocktail display or eclectic home décor.
Each piece is stamped on the underside:
HECHO EN MEXICO
ALPACA
Please note that alpaca is a nickel-silver metal alloy and is not sterling silver.
Set includes:
6 matching cordial goblets
Approximate size:
About 4 1/2 inches tall
Please refer to measurement photos for additional dimensions.
These retain their vintage patina and have not been aggressively polished, preserving the aged character of the metal. Expect tarnish, oxidation, spotting and surface wear consistent with age and use.
The abalone remains beautifully iridescent. Natural variations, small irregularities and age-related wear may be present. Please enlarge and review all photographs, as they are an important part of the description.
THE FIORUCCI COLLECTION NOTE:
