Beautiful lot of 3 vintage hand-painted Mexican pottery wall decorations, featuring bold cobalt blue and colorful traditional folk-art styling. These pieces were likely purchased around the same time and display wonderfully together.Included & Measurements:* Cross: approx. 8.5” long × 6” wide

* Floral Wall Pocket / Wall Vase: approx. 5.5” long × 4” wideThe sun is hand marked “MEXICO SR” on the reverse. The wall pocket is marked “HECHO EN MEXICO.” All three have built-in holes for wall hanging.Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. There is noticeable overall glaze crazing, particularly on the cross and wall pocket, along with scattered surface marks, scratches/scuffs and areas of glaze/paint wear. The cross has small areas of edge/color loss and imperfections. The wall pocket shows crazing on the front and reverse, wear around the unglazed terracotta edges, and small glaze losses/chips on the interior/back area. The sun shows minor surface/edge wear and typical handmade irregularities. I do not see any obvious major cracks or repairs in the photos.The variations in painting, glaze and pottery are consistent with the handmade nature of the pieces and add to their vintage Mexican folk-art character.Based on the style, construction and markings, these appear to be late-20th-century Mexican Talavera-style/majolica pottery, likely circa 1980s–1990s. They are being described as Talavera-style rather than attributed to a specific Puebla Talavera workshop.Please review all pictures closely for further condition details and don’t hesitate to ask questions, as all sales are final.
