Vintage Mexican paper mache folk art figurines featuring a peasant couple depicted as market vendors. This mid-century set includes a man and a woman, each seated on a wooden base and intricately crafted with expressive faces and fabric clothing details. One figure is shown grinding corn with a traditional metate, while the other appears to be working with market goods. These handcrafted campesino sculptures showcase traditional Mexican craftsmanship with a wonderful aged patina, making them a perfect addition to a folk art collection or Southwestern decor.
